I read in one setting. I love Jennifer's books. This one started off with so much potential based on the Dom/sub relationship. I liked that they met unbeknownst to each other after she ran away from him years ago and that he was the Dom who showed up. But I felt the story faded after their night. It was good but it lacked that intensity to be a really steamy book.Product details

Beg me is the fourth book in the Steele Brothers series. The story follows Cara and Rem two people who once again got a chance a love. This means that this book belongs in the second chances genre. Both parties had other partners over the years they weren't together (I am saying that just in case someone doesn't like it). Rem wants to finally let go of Cara and Cara wants a night to surrender to a dom and of course, the very skilled matchmaker of FANTA-C matched them together. We finally learn why Cara left Rem all those years ago and her reasoning was solid, but the way she did it was very bad. I understood both sides and I couldn't pick a side since both of them had a good reason to act like they did which for me means that the author did a good job with her characters. I liked Cara's character and the woman she has become. She is a good heroine. Rem was a good match for her even if it took him some time to realize how he feels. Beg me is a good book with enough character development for a novella.
